Orthodontic appointments require varied amounts of time depending upon the type of appointment. The initial consultation typically takes about 20 minutes. The appointment for diagnostic records, which consists of photographs, radiographs and impressions, takes approximately 30 minutes. The appointment when we place braces on the teeth takes about 1 hour. Adjustment appointments take 10 to 15 minutes. When it is time to remove the braces, the appointment is about an hour long. We will make every effort to work with you to schedule appointments that accommodate your busy schedule. If you need to reschedule an appointment, we ask that you give us 24 hours notice.
